Electronic Signatures
Send a document, get it signed, keep the record.
Rate confirmations, lease agreements and carrier packets all need a signature, and the usual route is print, sign, photograph, email, and hope the image is readable. Here you send a link. The other side opens it in whatever browser they have, signs on the screen, and the signed copy comes back as a PDF without either of you owning a printer.
The signing page needs no account and no app. That matters because the person signing is usually a broker or a shipper who has no interest in registering for your software — the fewer steps between them and a signature, the faster the document comes back.
Each request records when it was sent, when it was opened and when it was signed, and the signed document is stored alongside the order it belongs to. If a question comes up later about what was agreed and when, the record is there rather than scattered across an inbox. Links expire after 30 days, and you can resend a reminder if a document goes quiet.
Electronic signatures are legally recognised for commercial agreements across the United States, and the signed copy you get back is yours to keep and to produce. As with everything else here, the agreement is between you and the other party — we provide the means to sign it, nothing more.
