Refund Policy
Last updated: February 28, 2026
1. Subscription Overview
WheelsAndAxle is operated by Seed LLC and offered on a monthly subscription basis at the current introductory rate of $1.99/month. Your subscription automatically renews each month until you cancel. Pricing is introductory and subject to change with advance notice. If the price increases, you will be notified and, where required, asked to consent before continuing.
2. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Paddle.com ("Paddle"), who acts as the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller for all transactions. Paddle handles billing, payment processing, tax collection, and refunds. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Consumer Terms and Privacy Policy.
3. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you will be prompted to subscribe to continue using the Service. If you do not subscribe, your account will enter read-only mode.
4. Consumer Right to Cancel
After your initial subscription purchase, you have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving any reason, as provided under Paddle's Consumer Terms. This 14-day right applies to your initial subscription only — not upon each automatic renewal. To exercise this right, contact Paddle before the 14-day period expires.
If you cancel within this period, Paddle will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision. The reimbursement will use the same payment method as the original transaction.
5. Refunds
Outside the 14-day cancellation period described above, refunds are provided at Paddle's sole discretion on a case-by-case basis. There are no refunds on unused subscription periods. All refund requests must be made within 60 days of the transaction — requests after 60 days will not be processed.
To request a refund, contact Paddle directly through the receipt email you received at the time of purchase, or contact us at [email protected] and we will help coordinate with Paddle on your behalf.
6. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account billing page or by contacting Paddle directly at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period. Your cancellation takes effect at the next payment date — you will not be charged again. There are no cancellation fees, early termination charges, or long-term contracts.
7. What Happens After Cancellation
After your subscription ends:
- Your account enters read-only mode. You can still log in, view all your data, and export it (CSV, PDF), but you cannot create, edit, or delete records.
- Your data is retained for 90 days after your account enters read-only mode.
- We will send you email reminders at the start of the retention period, at 60 days (30-day warning), and at 80 days (10-day final warning).
- After 90 days, all your data — including fuel receipts, trips, orders, invoices, vehicles, and uploaded files — is permanently deleted from our systems.
- You may resubscribe at any time during the 90-day retention period to restore full access to your data.
8. Coupon-Based Access
If your subscription was activated through a coupon code, the same policies apply. When your coupon expires, you will receive a 7-day grace period with a billing alert before your account enters read-only mode. You may subscribe with a payment method or redeem another coupon to maintain access.
9. Contact
For billing questions, contact us at [email protected]. For payment and refund inquiries, you may also contact Paddle directly through the links in your purchase receipt email.
