Invoicing
Bill the load and get paid without the spreadsheet.
Getting paid is the part of the job nobody trains you for. An invoice has to be numbered, dated, itemised and sent to the right person, and if any of those are wrong it sits in somebody's queue for an extra month. Invoices here are built from the order, so the rate, the line items and the customer details come across already filled in.
Each invoice goes out as a PDF attached to an email, sent under your company name and carrying your logo. Line items can be edited before sending, so accessorials, detention or a negotiated adjustment land on the bill as their own line rather than being quietly folded into the rate where a broker will query them.
Due dates are tracked, so you can see at a glance what has been sent, what is coming due, and what has gone past. That is usually enough to catch the one that fell through the cracks, which over a year is the difference between chasing money and having it.
WheelsAndAxle produces the paperwork and sends it. The agreement is between you and your customer, and payment is settled directly between the two of you — we are not a party to the transaction and do not sit in the middle of it.
